The Zulu Hut was originally built of thatch, in the traditional Zulu style. Later it was covered with a concrete rock finish and a bathroom and separate bedroom added, and has recently enjoyed a revamp.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering accommodation, with a small oven-cooker, microwave, fridges etc. It has a separate bedroom with double bed, a double sleeper couch in the
lounge/kitchen area, and a single bed suspended from the roof above the double sleeper couch. It sleeps 2 people comfortably, and another 3 with a bit of a squeeze.
There is a rock finish bathroom with a toilet and a very large double shower. Original Zulu art and beadwork
decorate the walls.
DSTV, heater and small air conditioner ensure your comfort at all times.
Relax in the small plunge pool right outside the Hut with your sundowners as you take in the beautiful view of Champagne Castle and Cathkin peak. There is a braai area alongside the Hut.
